Provisions and Arrangements
Air Transportation:
We have found that it is easier for us to book the flight for Mike and then send the ticket information (arrival/departure times and cost) to you for reimbursement. Mike will fly from Midway International Airport of O’Hare International Airport to the airport nearest you (or the airport of your preference). Flight reimbursements will be requested once the flight has been booked.
Driving Transportation:
If it is sensible for Mike to drive instead of fly, a mileage reimbursement request will be sent to you 30 days prior to event. Mileage will be determined by google maps (round trip) at the rate 57.5 cents per mile.
Ground Transportation after a flight:
Many churches have a church vehicle that they lend to Mike for the duration of his stay. Others reimburse a car rental from the airport, or to have someone meet him and see that he gets to the scheduled events. Mike is flexible with whatever method that your budget allows.
Lodging:
Typically, the church/organization makes the lodging arrangements for Mike and then sends the information directly to him. The preference is lodging accommodations that provide wireless internet access and a complementary breakfast. We have found the Hilton & Marriott hotels provide high satisfaction.

Resource Table:
Mike will be traveling with resource materials, so having a table ready for him would be wonderful. Please identify a volunteer to man Mike’s table so that he can focus on personal interaction.
